I had a bit of a thread operation when I was on chemo when I was equal.
And um, I actually had some reconstruction surgery there like 8-9 years ago because it
was a full blown car crash.
Which, like this line here only exists because of this scar here.
And like there was a load of like muscles that ended up being chopped out because an
operation had gone wrong.
It kind of, oh well, I was the first person in the world ever to have this particular
kind of operation.
I was a full on kidney pig.
And um, it was because where my tumour was, in my iliac crest around here, at the time
they didn't like, because it was in the bone, they couldn't remove it.
Although these days they literally just hack out your bit of pelvis which is affected.
And uh, it might look a bit weird but it is so much better than dealing with the long
term side effects of the treatment.
And so because my tumour couldn't be removed like it was inoperable, I had to be absolutely
battered for treatment.
And so the levels of radiotherapy I needed were absolutely going to ruin my bladder bound
ovaries.
So um, I had like a bag of saline, it's called a tissue expander.
That's enough now bud.
Put it in my stomach to move everything out of the way.
And um, without it I'd just have like a catheter bag and a colostomy bag attached to me constantly.
